PsyD Program in Clinical Psychology, APA-approved for thirty years. Requires students to take PSY 5317 - Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, which is one of three therapy courses that they take; the others include Cognitive-Behavioral and Interpersonal. They also have practica with psychoanalytic and psychodynamic supervisors. A fair number of students elect to take these practica because of these supervisors. Dr. Huprich teaches Personality Assessment, which emphasizes Rorschach. He also teaches Exner's system, and discusses content analysis, along with Rapaport, Gill, and Shafer's approach to TAT interpretation. Assessment courses are undergoing revision, and one whole course will be devoted to projective tests.
